About

Our story

Built from experience.
Tuned by hand.

From early Class D amplifiers in Ukraine to handcrafted transmission-line loudspeakers made between Ukraine and Portugal.

Esséncia is the result of years spent building, measuring and listening. We make audio in small numbers, with one purpose: to let the recording speak for itself.

Acoustic measurement and listening in the Esséncia workshop

The journey

Engineering, refined over time.

2008

The first circuits.

We began with PWM Class D amplifiers delivering more than 94% efficiency, followed by efficient portable plywood loudspeakers.

2014

Made to order.

Bookshelf, floorstanding, cinema, surround and Dolby Atmos systems—designed and built by hand for individual projects.

2018

A high-end focus.

Premium materials, carefully selected drivers and crossover components brought our work to a new level of refinement.

2020

Crystal Audio.

Amplifiers, loudspeakers and subwoofers reached listeners across Ukraine, with selected commissions in Europe.

Today

Ukraine & Portugal.

After the war began, production was divided between two countries. The craft, knowledge and standards remained one.

Precision machining of a transmission-line loudspeaker cabinet

Our acoustic signature

Full-scale sound.
Folded into less space.

We specialise in folded quarter-wave transmission-line cabinets. Years of practical development and calculation allow us to bring controlled bass, high sensitivity, wide imaging and a neutral balance into cabinets made for real homes—even bookshelf formats.

The goal is simple: no added character, no exaggerated bass. What enters the loudspeaker should be what reaches the listener.

EXPLORE ROOM LAB

One pair at a time

You are buying the work—not a badge.

Every pair is individually assembled, measured, listened to and tuned by an experienced maker. We can develop passive or active systems, custom crossovers, amplifiers, cables, surround solutions and finishes created around a room and its owner.

This is not mass production. It is sound, materials and time at the bench—made into something that will not be repeated in exactly the same way.

Do it properly, or do not do it at all.

That principle has guided the work from the first amplifier to every Esséncia loudspeaker made today.
