Music and Movie Nights

A good pair can be the centre of everyday music and an evening film. The setup decides how naturally those two roles come together.

Begin with clear voices
For a stereo film setup, sit near the centre so dialogue can form a stable image between the speakers. Give both channels similar surroundings and use the television or source’s appropriate stereo output. Check lip-sync if you hear a delay.
Our floorstanding design aims for the weight that makes a soundtrack feel physical. A compact system can be attractive when dialogue and a smaller footprint matter more. Neither creates discrete surround or height channels from only two cabinets.
Build surround as a system
A multichannel installation needs suitable processing, amplification and matched channels. A centre speaker can help anchor dialogue for seats away from the middle. For Atmos, the content, processor and speaker layout must all support the intended format.

A deep musical bass response does not replace every cinema subwoofer requirement. Choose bass management and listening levels for the room; film effects can ask much more of a system than everyday music.
We have built custom surround systems and can discuss a coordinated design. Tell us your seating layout, receiver and the number of channels you want before ordering individual speakers.
