Reality Pro: Built for Scale

Esséncia Journal · Listening · From the workshop

Some music asks for scale: the weight of a bass line, the swell of an orchestra, the space around a voice. That is the direction behind Reality Pro.

Weight behind the music

Our aim is a full, deep low end with enough presence to make drums and bass instruments feel substantial. The transmission line is part of that design, working together with the drivers, crossover and cabinet. It is not a promise that every room will sound the same.

We describe the upper range as clear and open: the intake of breath before a phrase, the edge of a cymbal, the quiet decay after a piano note. These are our workshop listening impressions, not an independent review. A frequency range extending beyond 20 kHz does not, by itself, prove audible detail or better sound.

Give a large speaker some care

Reality Pro is specified at 48 kg per pair. Plan the route into the room and get help when moving it. Start with a balanced left-and-right layout, then adjust position using music you know. A rich low end can become too much near a room boundary or with an overlapping subwoofer.

Workshop crossover components: the final sound depends on how the complete system is designed.

Best reason to choose it

You want the physical presence of a floorstanding system and are willing to spend time getting its placement right. Ask us about your room and amplifier before choosing.
